Hotels generally have a more lenient policy for changes and cancellations. When booking your hotel you will be informed if the hotel has a special rate for non-refundable bookings, internet only bookings or last minute bookings. Other rates may give you a 24 to 48 hour cancellation time frame with no charge. Rules change widely for international hotels. Always check the fine print.
